FAQ’s Taxanomyy

The tasting is generally free of charge for you. However, if you are unable to decide at the end of the tasting whether you would like to take the wine home with you, we would be happy to charge you a fee depending on the number of wines tasted. This can be between CHF 20 and CHF 50 per person.

No, individual guests do not need to register to taste our wines. The only exception is if you would like a Valais plate with your tasting, for example, we would ask you to reserve this in advance. However, if you would like to taste our wines with a group of more than six people, please book in advance.

In our traditional winery at Bahnhofstrasse 50 in Salgesch, you can taste our award-winning range to your heart’s content all year round from Monday to Friday from 08:00 – 12:00 and from 13:30 – 17:30. Of course, we are also happy to be there for you on Saturdays. From January to March we are open on this day of the week from 09.00 – 12.00 and from 13.30 – 16.00 and from April to December from 09.00 – 16.00.

You have the opportunity to choose from the entire range of our almost 60 wines. These include white wines, rosé wines, red wines, dessert wines, sparkling wines and spirits.

You are very welcome to extend your stay with us in Salgesch with additional program modules. For example, you have the option of eating in our Barrique restaurant before or after the wine tasting. For groups, we also offer guided themed hikes such as the “Emerald Lizard Trail” (approx. 60-90 minutes), the “Winegrower’s Trail through Hell” (approx. 60-90 minutes) or the half-day hikes “Grape Variety Hike” or “Bisse Hike”.
