Mathier is someone who goes to the people. Someone you can’t get past. Whether you want to or not. A salesman before the Lord. And that pays off. <\/p>\n\n
He doesn’t do everything right, as he himself admits. His range of wines is huge. We count 49 wines. The whole range: white, ros\u00e9, red, sweet and sparkling wines. It’s all there. It’s easy to lose track. “In terms of marketing, it’s actually nonsense,” says Mathier bluntly. But you take the necessary time to explain the wines to customers. The advantage: you get (almost) every conceivable Swiss wine from a single source. <\/p>\n\n
The winery from the village, which seems to consist only of wineries, produces a total of one million bottles a year. A huge amount by Swiss standards! And the trend is rising. Just like the number of labels. “The ideas are queuing up in my head,” says the winemaker. “It would be boring to make just one wine. We have three Humagne Rouge, for example. They all have their own style. They are three different wines.” <\/p>\n\n
