In 2023, Domaine Claudy Clavien from Miège was awarded the “Winery of the Year” trophy for its outstanding achievements, after impressing the judges with two category wins and several other top placements. Among other wines, the estate won with a classic Syrah and a white blend made from regional grape varieties. In addition, Diego Mathier from Salgesch was once again honored as Winery of the Decade, having already earned this title in 2016. Mathier impressed with his Ermitage Nadia Mathier 2025, which not only won the single-varietal white wine category but was also named the best white wine of the competition. Valais’ dominance at the Grand Prix is due in no small part to the high number of wines submitted from the canton, which was more than twice that of second-place Vaud.

…

Find out more here

[299
post-20461","aktuelles","type-aktuelles","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","aktuelles-type-press
["GET
