Wine tasting in the Valais Stübli in Salgesch
As is well known, wine always tastes best where it has matured to perfection. We warmly welcome you to the Stübli, the heart of our winery. Here you can taste the entire range of the three times best Swiss winegrower with up to five people, even without prior reservation, while below you in the visible wine cellar the fine wines of the next vintage mature in the barrique barrels into wines of the highest quality.

Isn’t it nice when you can choose between the pleasant and the pleasant? If you would like to enjoy a fine Valais platter, we will be happy to serve it to you before, during or after your wine tasting at our winery.

Wine hike through the vines
Combine your wine tasting with a hike through the picturesque vineyards of Valais. Enjoy the unique combination of exquisite wine and breathtaking nature.
Smaller groups of up to 6 people can do the hikes on their own. For groups of 6 people or more, we recommend booking a guided wine hike. We kindly ask you to book in advance.

How much does a wine tasting for individuals at Adrian & Diego Mathier Nouveau Salquenen AG cost?
The wine tasting is generally free of charge for you. However, if you are unable to decide at the end of the wine tasting whether you would like to take some wine home with you, we would be happy to charge you a fee depending on the number of wines tasted. This can be between CHF 20 and CHF 50 per person.
Where to taste Mathier wines?
Salgesch (VS), Interlaken (BE), Hochdorf (LU) or at one of our trade fair stands. On average, the Adrian & Diego Mathier Nouveau Salquenen winery has its own stand at over 20 trade fairs a year.
