Expovina Wine Trophy
The Expovina Wine Trophy exhibitor prize is one of the few awards that this family business from Salgesch has not yet won. This year, it has now also succeeded in winning this trophy.
ADRIAN & DIEGO MATHIER NOUVEAU SALQUENEN SA SALGESCH
Ferdinand Mathier, Diego’s great-grandfather, laid the foundations for the success of the family business now run by Nadia and Diego Mathier. As a dedicated vineyard inspector, he was already aware of the importance of the soil conditions, the vineyards and the microclimate in Valais at the beginning of the 20th century. Since 2001, Nadia and Diego have been running the company with great passion and commitment, successfully developing it in line with the company philosophy “Tradition, emotion, innovation and enjoyment – for generations”.
Facts & Figures
The exhibitor prize was awarded to the Concours participant who had achieved the highest average score of all exhibitors at the 68th Expovina or the 17th Expovina Primavera with three of their award-winning wines. The prize was endowed with 2,000 Swiss francs.
