The Salgesch wine cellar Mathier & Bachmann AG has created a world of wine experiences at its new location in Hohenrain. With the vinotheque, which offers space for tastings, themed evenings and seminars, the company is tapping into the potential of individual connoisseurs.
Until the end of last year, Salgescher Weinkeller Mathier & Bachmann AG was based in Rothenburg. With its range of wines, which includes over 600 products, it mainly supplies restaurants in central Switzerland, the Basel, Aargau, Zurich and eastern Switzerland regions.
A new clientele for the 20th anniversary
This year, the company is celebrating its 20th anniversary. For the owners Diego and Nadja Mathier and Beat and Sigi Bachmann, this should be the occasion to meet the needs of the market even better in future. Last summer, the company bought an existing industrial building on Hohenrainstrasse in the industrial estate between Hohenrain and Hochdorf. Last February, the wine specialists tackled the final stage of the conversion. In the western part of the building complex, the warehouse was built on around 750 square meters, which offers above-average capacity due to the height of the hall. The part of the building facing Lindenberg now houses the administration, meeting and seminar rooms.
