REVIEW AND OUTLOOK
The 2025 wine year impressively demonstrated how fine the interplay between nature and experience can be. Different weather phases required a keen eye and the right decisions at the right time. After a brief onset of winter in April, the vegetation developed quickly and harmoniously thanks to the good locations of our vines. The summer, with balanced rainfall and stable temperatures, allowed the grapes to ripen evenly, without minor weather caprices in early autumn spoiling the positive development.
The harvest began early in September and brought slightly lower yields, but grapes of remarkable concentration and quality. Once again it was clear that the foundations for great wines are laid in the vineyard. Our new product, the Cuvée Diego Mathier red AOC Valais, is a harmonious wine with a strong character that ideally complements the successful 2025 vintage.
