Grand Prix du Vin Suisse
The Grand Prix du Vin Suisse is the largest and most important wine competition in Switzerland (Swiss Wine Awards). The aim of the competition is to promote the quality of Swiss wine and strengthen its market presence. Every year, over 3,000 wines in 13 different categories are assessed by expert judges and special prizes are awarded, including the title of Best Swiss Winery of the Year.
On October 26, 2016, the 10th Grand Prix du Vin Suisse awards ceremony took place in the Kursaal Bern. Adrian & Diego Mathier Nouveau Salquenen was awarded the title of best Swiss winery of the decade by a wide margin with a total of 33 nominations, 6 category wins and 16 podium places.
