The Mathier wine festival is all about summer enjoyment
Don’t miss this special kind of gourmet tête-à-tête! To kick off the summer on June 27, 2026, you can discover and enjoy not only the queen of the Valais orchard, but also the award-winning top wines from our winery to your heart’s content at the first Mathier Wine Festival.
Summer again at last! Nature is lush and green and there are colorful fireworks everywhere. And of course the nose and palate should not miss out. Enjoy with all your senses – that is the motto of the 1st Mathier Wine Festival. Apricots and wine dominate this event under a steel-blue sky and against the imposing backdrop of the Alps.
You will encounter the orchard classic in three ways: as an irresistibly sweet and juicy fruit, as a high percentage in Vieil Apricot Barrique, with which Diego Mathier has already been crowned Swiss Schnapps Champion, and of course as a seductive aroma in one or two of our fine Valais wines.
If you’re in the mood for even more summer enjoyment, we recommend a stay at our BnB Vino Veritas.
